We got our first snow in the northwest here yesterday...big wet flakes that didn't stick but where oh so lovely to watch as I sat in the studio and created this piece, a gift for a friend. The words near the bottom say "sing your summer songs"; the hair is made from sewn dried rose petals from last years garden.

Katie, this is lovely. I love how you added the stitching in this piece! I finally have a really nice machine that I purchased this summer and it is all set up in my room and yet I never think to add stitching! Wonderful piece, your friend will love it! Brandi
